That means this is a good time to sell or buy a house. According to the survey, sellers and buyers should avoid the following mistakes.
Once homeowners decide to sell, they should take care to set the right asking price. While timing is important, setting the right price is critical when it comes to successfully marketing a home.
The other mistakes homesellers make are: not preparing the home for sale by painting, cleaning the carpet, etc. and not making the home available to be shown to prospective buyers, and trying to sell a home without the assistance of a real estate professional.
The biggest mistakes buyers make are not prequalifying for a home loan, being indecisive when the right home is found; and making an unrealistically low initial offer. And of course, not working with a real estate professional.
